In the universe of white metal, Jimmy P. Brown II (JPBII) is well known as the legendary front man and leader of the epic band Deliverance.
Deliverance has evolved over the years as JPBII explored, expanded, and adapted the many influences filling his soul. Throughout these years, JPBII has tried to appease Deliverance fans from the melodic years (Learn, River Disturbance, Camelot in Smithereens) and the thrash years (Deliverance, Weapons of Our Warfare). In fact, the latest release “The Subversive Kind” is a nod to the fans of the early thrash era Deliverance albums.
As the founder and primary songwriter, JPBII has consistently been the main and driving force for this highly influential band. JPBII’s career musical output outside of Deliverance includes the 70’s glam rock of Jupiter VI, the dark wave of Fearful Symmetry, the melodic rock of his EraserHead project, and a vast number of recordings that include cover songs of Lauren Daigle all the way to Iron Maiden.

Deliverance named Jim their official drummer in 2015 following a show at the Exodo Festival in Mexico. His drumming work can be found on Deliverance’s “The Subversive Kind” and numerous recordings and projects from JPBII.

In fact, Manny has the distinction of appearing on the heralded creative years releases including “Learn,” “River Disturbance” and “Camelot in Smithereens.” He has become an integral force within the band unit and remains a permanent “right-hand-man” for JPBII in his solo efforts as well.
